Sokhany ba Sar Dabir
( A Letter to the Editor)
Some of you may have born or raised up in Canada, and never had the PLEASURE of living under censorship, but the rest at least had the chance to read a news paper or two in early 90s , in Iran.
There was a newspaper called Salam, and the name of the chief editor (Sar Da Bir) was Abbas Abdi. Some of you may remember him, some may dont. He was a well-known journalist during those days, but off-course not EVERYONE liked what he was writing.
There was a Column in this newspaper called A Letter to the Chief Editor, or Sokhany Ba Sar Dabir.
This column supposedly was allocated to those

readers who wanted to have their opinions heard
through the Board of Editors (Heyate Tahririyeh).
After Abbdi saw he was being held responsible for his opinions, almost immediately after the daily issues, he gave up his own column and never wrote again; off-course only not under his own real name.
He instead moved to the column of Sokhany Ba Sar Dabir, and started putting his own articles under anonymous names.
What happened,...after some of the fans of this column realized that the writing style (Ghalam) is look alike to Abdis, they started calling this column:

I have seen a few writings in our weblog without the name of the writer. Although I found the words very smart, but there was no name to praise.
Why not enjoy the gift of free society and write what we want and be proud.
