جوابي به" يك مسئله " دوست عزيز" خوش خبر" و جوابي به "چندين مسئله" دوست عزيز "آقاي گازراني

Dear Alireza Gazerani (Prince Ali),

I would like to remind you a few little historical facts; this way you can refresh your memory on some of the issues which I discussed in my previous posting.

I will leave the judgment to the readers. This way, they may realize whether my comparison of social structure of Canada and Iran is “comparing apples with oranges”, or your comparison of “Amir Kabir” with “King Cyrus”.

First of all, I did not say, after Arabs attack we had “NO” good people. I also didn’t have enough time to write a long list and appreciate every one’s contribution towards the well-being of Great Persia.(I know you always like a long appreciation list ; I simply did not have time to put together a long list of all “Devoted people of Persia” to “win the crowd”.)

You compared “Amir Kabir” with “King Cyrus”; the followings are the words directly from the “Cyrus Charter of Human Rights”:

I am Cyrus.
……………………………
When I entered Babylon... I did not allow anyone to terrorize the land... I kept in view the needs of Babylon and all its sanctuaries to promote their well-being... I put an end to their misfortune.
From The First Charter of the Rights of Nations
Cyrus, The Great

Now, Mr Gazerani, Do you really think this is a very small achievement; Honestly we should practice to be a little bit fair over the arguments we make; For more information on how great was Cyrus, please refer to the books written about him and his kindness towards his “own” people including his “enemies”.

You talked about the honorable “Amir Kabir”. To let you know, I have deep respect for him. If you have read my article properly, which I hope you did, I talked about the thoughts of Rostam Hormozd. He was one of the most respected Iranian military generals at the time of Arab invasion of Persia. Being known for his wisdom and intelligent military tactics, he was also an astrologer. He predicted the defeat of Persia by the Muslims but fought “loyally” until his army was defeated. He also predicted the decreasing trend of mannerisms amongst the majority of Persians after Arab’s conquest; the sense of loyalty being replaced by “betrayal.”

Now, I have a question for you; How “Amir Kabir” died?

Of course, you know the answer; He was “betrayed” by his own people, and finally was killed over a “conspiracy”. Please, again refer to my article. I said, “ ….. When I talk about the lost integrity (stated by Rostam in his goodbye letter), I mean the way that integrity as a measure of individual’s quality has slipped from our common awareness. This decreasing trend of mannerisms makes life less attractive to some of Iranians who “still live in Iran”…..”

Dislike you, I don’t call Rostam Hormozd’s achievements, “hilarious military conquest“, neither, I don’t compare him with “Nader Shah Afshar”. Rostam Hormozd, fought for Persia, defended Persia, and died for Persia; he did not cause the destruction of India.

At last, just to let you know, I was very clear about my answer to the “First” question of Mr. Khoshkhabar, since I know him personally. I specifically called my article, “Answer to “one” of the questions posted by ….” NOT all the questions. That is why, you didn’t find the flow.

I only talked about my “own” opinion (Alireza) about why Canada is a better place for living than Iran, and that is ALL.

I hope from now on, you give your own opinions and views, and stop correcting others.

Thank you,

Alireza B.
